Hot Tea:
Loose tea directions.
We love using a french press, insulated if you have it. Teapots and reusable cotton tea bags are great too. You can also leave your tea running loose in you cup and drink it with a tea straw.
Heat water 160°F – 185°F (or until the teapot whistles). Add 1 tsp (3 gr) tea per 8 oz. water to your french press, pour heated water over the loose tea. Let steep for 2 – 5 minutes, then press and…let your bold brilliance light up the world!
Cold Brew:
In a glass jar or stainless steel container, place tea and cold water in the same proportions as the hot tea directions. Cover and place in the refrigerator (or in the sun for a few hours and then the fridge). Tea will be ready in 6 – 12 hours. Pour over ice with a slice of lemon, if desired!
